Varuna Bangaleea has been a member of nVisionIT's executive team for over 10 years and exemplifies the qualities of honesty, integrity, empowerment and inclusiveness that the Group stands for.

She is widely recognized for her contributions to the tech ecosystem, including being awarded the Women in Tech Leadership Award 2024 globally and for Africa. Her work is deeply rooted in driving digital transformation across Africa, with a strong focus on building inclusive, citizen-centric platforms.

A graduate of the University of Mauritius with a Master's degree from the Indira Gandhi National Open University, Varuna is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA). Her research focuses on AI governance and Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), with the aim of shaping responsible, scalable frameworks for emerging economies.

Beyond her professional achievements, Varuna is a passionate advocate for empowering women and youth in technology. She actively participates in global forums, mentorship initiatives and industry panels, contributing to the next generation of tech leaders across the continent.
